Notice of termination of employment
Dear Mr Mugabe,
Please receive notice that the people of Zimbabwe, your employers, hereby advise that your services are no longer required and therefore give immediate notice of termination of your employment. Please relinquish your post, vacate the offices of the people of Zimbabwe, return your vehicles and such monies and material commodities as have been accrued by you during your term of office and vacate the residential premises provided by the tax paying public. The people of Zimbabwe are not compelled to give reasons for the termination of your employment, however, given the serious nature of the breech of conditions of your employment, the following serves to explain this decision, whereafter no further debate will be entered into.
The people, the sovereign guardians of democracy in Zimbabwe, deem you guilty of flagrantly disregarding the foundations of freedom; justice and peace in their country; disregarding their inherent dignity, equal and inalienable rights and their security. You show absolute condescension for respect for human rights, resulting in barbarous acts injuring the helpless, maiming the innocent and outraging the consciences of a peace-loving nation. You deny the country the right to enjoy freedom of speech, the right to believe and the right to freedom from fear.
You invoke heinous acts that repudiate all Zimbabweans the right to reject your tyranny and oppression and you deny the people their rights to be protected by the rule of law. The people of Zimbabwe reaffirm their faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of their fellow people and the determination they have to promote social and economic progress and better standards of their lives freely, but you deliberately strive to unequivocally destroy all.
Zimbabweans are born free and equal in dignity. They are endowed with reason and conscience and act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood and togetherness. In this regard, you vengefully endeavour to remove these dignities and spirits of co-existence.
You offensively reject Zimbabweans their entitlement to every honour and liberty as set forth in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, without distinction of race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.
The people unanimously concur that you maliciously deprive the nation of its constitutional rights to life and civil liberty, hold the oppressed in slavery and servitude, subject the innocent to the cruelties of torture, inhumanity, degrading treatment and you punish a nation for being God's children. In the process, you demand recognition clearly superfluous to your behaviour in the face of denying the people an impartial hearing in return, just as you elevate yourself above the law whilst rejecting access to it by any rational opposition.
You abuse your rights to solve national disquiet through incompetent government tribunals that in turn enable processes that violate elementary presidential rights granted by the constitution and laws governing Zimbabwe, to the extent of subjecting innocent people and opposing dignitaries to arbitrary arrest, illegal detention, callous torture, unlawful punishment by party partial committees and courts, and even death.
It is held that you are also negligent in respecting that Zimbabweans will not be subjected to arbitrary interference with their privacy, family, home or corresponding interests, nor to attacks upon their honour and reputation, given that the people have the right to the protection of the law against such interference, humiliation or attacks, but the same laws which you conveniently stage manoeuvre for your own protection.
Concurrence by the majority of Zimbabweans, declares that you abuse the powers of your office to deny the people their rights to own property, notably nationally valuable commercial farming areas deemed indispensable to food production in a starving environment, and to foreign exchange earnings in a bankrupt economy. You do not have the right to arbitrarily deprive any Zimbabwean of such property, undertaken in the pathetic guise of equitable distribution, whilst your rapacious contemporaries are the only beneficiaries.
The people reject outright your demands that they be compelled to belong to your union of political believers, and reject your conduct to deny them their right to take part in the governance of Zimbabwe directly through freely elected representatives conveying their will as the basis of the authority of a legitimate government. Additionally, the persistent outrageous interference by your office in the free, fair and secret vote process is deemed criminally abhorrent.
Furthermore, your negligent approach to the national economy is obliterating the rights of Zimbabweans to a standard of living adequate for the healthy well being of the average person and family. The scarcity and cost of maize meal, meat, sugar, bread, flour, cooking oil, salt, petrol, diesel, paraffin, clothing, housing, education, medical care and essential social services, underscore your incompetency.
Moreover and beyond grounds for mitigation, the people hold you guilty of the most evil of crimes against man in recent Zimbabwean history, that of employing starvation as a weapon of mass destruction to defeat your adversaries.
The failure of your economic policies have created conditions leading to the total collapse of essential institutions and central government services, in turn escalating distress and pain amongst the people to unacceptable levels. Zimbabwe is unable to secure even basic needs and six million people in poorer communities have been pushed over the edge of famine into the chasm of starvation. Zimbabweans do not accept that you and your chosen few should enjoy a luxurious standard of living achieved by bribery, corruption and criminal means, in return for the annihilation of a nation and the lives of the poor and innocent.
You lend extensively to attempts to destroy understanding, tolerance and friendship among ethnic groups, racial and social groups, and you are being held accountable for demolishing the efforts toward the maintenance of peace and harmony across unlimited fronts.
The people hold you solely responsible for having influenced the destruction of entitlement all Zimbabweans have to any social, national and international order in which the rights and freedoms of the country and its people can be fully realised.
The people of Zimbabwe extend their gratitude to you for the role you played in gaining their independence, but fully realise their secure and prosperous future's lie in the termination of your employment. Given this, the people further declare, that after 23 years of suffrage and deliberation, your dismissal is an unfortunate, but necessary process.
In confirming your dismissal, you have prejudiced the morality, public order and the general welfare of a democratic minded society through barbaric and unjust rule of law, solely for the purpose of securing supercilious recognition and protection for yourself and your holistically dishonest Zanu PF rogues.
To avoid any further unnecessary national and international steps being instituted against you in the interest of Zimbabwe's future and stability in the region, please receive this notice with the responsible graciousness you profess to practice.
Yours faithfully,
The people of Zimbabwe
