HIV & AIDS is among the greatest challenges to sustainable economic, social and civil society development today. It is a global crisis that undermines all aspects and all sectors of entire societies. An epidemic as complex and as destructive as HIV & AIDS requires innovative and multi-sectoral responses beyond standard public health measures. The implementation of multi-sectoral HIV & AIDS programmes warrants total national commitment and reduction in stigma associated with the disease.
