The Supply Initiative: meeting the need for reproductive health
supplies, has a new monthly newsletter that provides updates on the
Supply Initiative activities, as well as news, materials and events
related to condom and contraceptive shortages. The first issue is
attached as a pdf.
There is a crisis in the availability of contraceptives, condoms for
HIV/AIDS prevention and other reproductive health supplies throughout
the developing world, which is threatening millions of lives.
The Supply Initiative http://www.rhsupplies.org is a newly established
global focal point for supply issues related to sexual and reproductive
health services. Based in Brussels, the Initiative brings together
diverse reproductive health actors and facilitates a constructive
dialogue and a greater co-ordination of supply related activities.
