ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ADVISER - Women's Solidarity, Windhoek, Namibia
Women's Solidarity is a non-governmental organisation engaged in counselling,
education and research work around the issue of violence against women. The
post holder will work on developing and strengthening the services provided by
Women's Solidarity. You will also assist in developing a marketing strategy to
raise the profile and advertise the organisation and its services to the public
and donors. Experience in management role, strategic planning, fundraising,
implementing educational and advocacy programmes and advising on organisational
development issues is essential. The post holder should have proven sensitivity
to issues of gender and violence against women. Experience of counselling,
preferably in the area of violence against women is highly desirable. Due to
the nature of the post preference will be given to female candidates.
We offer a comprehensive remuneration and benefits package and orientation
training. Posts are for a minimum of two years.
