Angola’s vice-minister of Science and Technology, Dr Pedro Sebastião Teta, has been energetically promoting projects aimed at the modernisation of the country’s information technology infrastructure, particularly for use by the public sector.

The South African National Assembly on 22 November passed an information bill which would sanction unauthorized possession and publication of classified state information with a prison term of up to 25 years, according to news reports.
