Africa, Beautiful and Majestic

There are 120 million African Brazilians or 57 per cent of Brazil’s current total population of 210 million.

Following the 7^thPAC [Pan African Congress] in April 1994 in Kampala, a Secretariat was set up to coordinate the affairs of the Global Pan African Movement.

For the past four hundred years and more peoples of the African World have been fighting to resist the European military, spiritual, psychological, political and economic onslaughts. In the process, a range of strategies have been devised, adopted and developed.

This is the second and final part of an essay that we carried last week entitled, Pan-Africanism, women’s emancipation and the meaning of socialist development
