Call for Papers

The Institute for Social and Economic Studies (IESE) will be holding its second conference, on the 22nd and 23rd of April 2009 in Maputo about "Dynamics of Poverty and Patterns of Economic Accumulation in Mozambique."

On 19 October 2008, at the opening ceremony of the Fifth International Via Campesina Conference in Maputo, Mozambique, over 600 representatives from 50-plus countries were gathered to hear a welcome address by the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Armando Emíio Guebuza.
