Regional Content Manager
Digital channels are key to connecting with our supporters, publicizing our campaigning work and encouraging people to take action. In this new post within our Digital Communications team, you’ll oversee the way we use multimedia content to reach target audiences.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will give you the chance to work across a wide range of digital channels such as amnesty.org, our AiCandle iPhone app and independently-owned online spaces – and manage the content that appears on all of them. And whether you’re working with Amnesty teams to develop Global Content Packages, disseminating third-party material or benchmarking content-related standards and governance, everything you do will be aimed at maximizing the opportunities to connect with supporters and encourage interaction through digital channels. It will be down to you to line manage the Social Media Officer and all the time you’ll be working closely with teams from across the organization, offering guidance that helps optimize content for specific digital channels. It means you’ll have a huge mix of work on which to stretch your skills and we’ll make sure you get plenty of support to develop them.
ABOUT YOU
You’ll have a proven track record in a content-related role within digital communications. That will include experience of working with a variety of content types, ideally across multiple languages. It’s a background that means you’ll have developed strong skills in writing, editing and sub-editing for digital channels. It also means you’ll have an extensive knowledge of Content Management and Customer Relationship Management systems. Added to that it will show a real flair for content analysis – you’ll be someone who can derive actionable insight from content analytics reports.
