NICRO is a leading social service organization working in the field of crime prevention and restorative justice through development.

We seek to fill the following positions:

1.Provincial Journey Program Manager

2. Community Victim Support worker: East-Rand

1. Provincial Journey Program Manager

Responsibilities will include:

Project Management and development of an intensive Outdoor adventure

Program, using restorative justice and experiential education

Strategic planning and budget development

Monitoring, evaluation and report writing

Training of a core group of volunteers and other team members

Partnership development and liaising with relevant government departments and other organizations

The ideal applicant should have a social science qualification, experience in project management and vast knowledge of youth development issues, reasonable understanding of restorative justice, leadership qualities and extensive capacity to learn and work under pressure. Must have a drivers licence.

2. Community Victim Support

Responsibilities Include:

a.. Counseling and support to victims of domestic violence and crime
b.. Managing a community victim support centre
c.. Managing a team of volunteers
d.. Liaising with other organisations in the community
e.. Report writting and planning

The ideal applicant should have a social science qualification or relevant qualifiction, experience in working with victims of crime and domestic violence, management of volunteers, leadership qualities and extensive capacity to learn and work under pressure. Must have a drivers licence
