FIRST ANNUAL AFRICAN CORPORATE CITIZENSHIP CONVENTION,
24 & 25 APRIL 2002, SANDTON

The African Institute of Corporate Citizenship is hosting the first ever African Corporate Citizenship Convention over 24 & 25 April 2002 at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg. The event is one of the most important African forums in the build up to the World Summit on Sustainable Development providing business, government and the NGO sector the opportunity to understand responsible business practice. The convention is an extraordinary opportunity to shape the African business agenda in line with strong international moves to integrate corporate citizenship into mainstream business practice.

The convention will comprise 4 plenary sessions debating key issues viz. NEPAD, African Corporate Citizenship, African Challenges & Leadership for Tomorrow. Key speakers include Peter Moyo, Nolitha Fakude, Mumba Kapumpa, David Grayson, Ezra Mbogori, Nosizwe Nokwe,
Irene Charnley and Morwesi More.

The two day event features fifteen workshops each facilitated by a diverse group of experts and covering a wide range of pertinent corporate citizenship issues. Delegates will have a choice of one workshop per session.
