A local Zimbabwean NGO working with young people urgently requires the
services of a Training Manager to start as soon as possible.

Position Objectives

To manage the training delivery services of the department and implement
all scheduled BCP/EFL courses at national and regional level.

To provide oversight to existing training programmes and develop new
initiatives.

Responsibilities

1. Manages training within approved budgets.

2. Implements all BCP/EFL courses as scheduled.

3. Supervises employees reporting to him/her to ensure they meet
performance standards.

4. Developing annual training budgets and plans.

5. Training material development and revisions to existing training
material.

6. Assign job duties and monitor task completion.

7. Attend meetings representing organizational training.

8. Prepare and review training reports.

9. Conduct employee evaluations.

10. Provide technical assistance to national and regional level staff
on issues relating to training.

- Knowledge of Training Processes.
- Knowledge of Group dynamics.
- Knowledge of programme planning and administration.
- Knowledge of budgetary methods and systems.
- Skills in facilitation.
- Skills in planning and coordinating training activities.
- Skills in planning and organizing.
- Skills in directing and assigning work to others.
- Leadership skills.
- Ability to train others.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree in Social Science or related field, plus three
(3) years of experience in Training/Teaching, at least two (2) years of
which were in a supervisory role. A Diploma in Further Education and
Training is a distinct advantage.

2. Demonstrated administrative experience including the ability to
coordinate, monitor and manage training programme activities and/ or
projects.

3. Demonstrated skills in group process, shared decision making and
thorough knowledge of training methodology.

4. Experience with training design and delivery.
