Patrick Bond is Distinguished Professor of Sociology at the University of Johannesburg Centre for Social Change.
Elinor Sisulu is Executive Director of the Puku Children’s Literature Foundation, and was awarded an honorary PhD by the University of Pretoria for her work in human rights and reading promotion.
Scott Timcke is a Research Associate of the University of Johannesburg’s Centre for Social Change and an Affiliate with the Center for Information, Technology, and Public Life at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Bond and colleagues examine the convergence of corporate hegemony, anti-labour views, state capture and far-right alignment to answer the question of what to do with the world’s richest man and all that he represents.
