Celebrated on Kwame Nkrumah’s birthday, September 21, Founder’s Day almost always draws some controversy over who should be named founder of modern Ghana.

Many times, in the presence of whites, I have found myself in a position that no black person should ever find themselves in.

Once again, the streets of the West Bank are on fire. There is talk of a Third Intifada.

Alarmingly, there has recently been a rise in calls from both within and outside Africa saying that for individual countries on the continent to pursue democracy will undermine their economic growth, development and industrialization.

Since the rebellion in Ferguson, Missouri in August 2014, Black people throughout the United States have been grappling with a number of critical questions such as why are Black people being hunted and killed every 28 hours or more by various operatives of the law?
